Let's help liberate today's woman

I’m sure this title sounds really weird. We’ve heard of love at first sight then what’s this love at second sight. Love at first sight occurs mostly in our youth. For some it vanishes as mere infatuation. For few others luck favors and they tie a wedding knot. Marriage seems to be the happiest moment for them after few years of courtship. It appears like a dream come true.

But after few years of marriage differences of opinion crops up and there are  some arguments  with bitterness. Sometimes it creates a big rift between the two. There are occasions when both come to a conclusion to end their relationship. The child begotten by them makes them come to a compromise and they forego this thought. Life needs compromises but life itself is not a compromise. The heart and soul long for love and affection. When one doesn’t receive it from the partner, there comes a diversion towards another individual. This is what I meant by love at second sight. This feeling might be towards one of our acquaintances whom we have known from long. It can be a childhood friend or a college mate who has a similar mental framework as ours.

We were temporarily out of contact but when your life is in turbulence, this person coincidentally seems to make an entry. This companion gives us the much desired solace. It would have been a sheer coincidence that we happened to bump into each other after long but it indeed was blissful. We start living life again. At times we would have even felt that how come we missed choosing this person as our life partner. Then we realise it’s all fate which decides our lives, no point cribbing over it. Now the person is back why not add meaning to life by being with him/her. But in a society like ours where we are brought up with morals and ethics, there comes a question if we are right. We believe in karma and its effects. So is our karma going to affect our offsprings. We are tied up between two worlds not able to let go any of them as both have become significant. They run parallel and we have to balance both. We, at STHREEJEEVAN would like to invite you to share your thoughts and experiences.
