HEART ACHES SOMETIMES, DO YOU FEEL IT?
Physical pain is felt and has a cure and you can get relieved of it, but how about the heart? The heart too develops aches when your loved ones hurt you. The harsh and bitter words of a loved one makes your heart weep and not always does the person on the other end realise how much pain is incurred. Great people of yesteryear have often said “Think before you speak”- as our own tongue can be a blessing as well as a curse. Words which come out of the mouth are like those arrows which have been shot from the quiver but can’t be taken back. They would leave behind heart aches and injuries which have no cure. This might lead to weakening of trust, love and affection in a relationship.
Women are victims of such a situation. A sudden volley of words from our loved ones pulls us down both physically and mentally. What we considered to be an ideal relationship all of a sudden loses its identity. The whole world appears to be doomed for us. Who in reality is to be blamed for it? It’s none other than “we ourselves”. We have succumbed to all situations and suppressed our feelings. We don’t express it in order to save the relationship. By chance even if we do we are termed unethical, unprofessional or ill-mannered. We are proved wrong. All this happens because we are taken for granted. In order to prove ourselves we must have learned to say NO from the beginning whenever things were not in our control. We couldn’t say NO because we had a lurking fear we might be offended. If we don’t say no then the expectations of people would become endless. We can’t satisfy everyone that’s highly impossible. We must do only what’s possible and put our foot down when we can’t. People around us might over react but that will be short lived. Soon they will understand our state of mind and support us. So don’t stake your real identity in proving yourselves to others.
BE THE REAL YOU ALWAYS.
